Who Are We?

Matt - The Ambassador of Aloha

Matt is passionate about the Ocean, Travel, and the Aloha Spirit. His day usually starts at 4:00am answering your emails, scheduling the tours, and ensuring everything is perfect for your day with us.

Born and raised in Hawaii and living in Thailand for 9 years, Matt is a Professionally Certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor who saw Phuket's need for a Quality Speedboat Tour that offers Small Groups the chance to Expereince Big Things. He will always make sure that you get the best possible tour and have the Highlight of Your Holiday in Phuket!

In addition to all his other work, Matt tries to personally be on the boat as often as possible. He firmly believes his office is in the ocean :)

Namwhan - The Thai Sherpa

Namwhan is the hardest working Thai woman any of us have ever met. She keeps everything running smooth. She is always in contact with all of our partners that provide services with us from the van in the morning, the resorts, restuarants, marina, Thai crew, and more to make sure that everything isn't just done, but that it is perfect for you.

You will also find Namwhan on the boat everyday taking photos both above and underwater and working to ensure that everything goes smoothly and safely during your day with us.

A graduate from Suan Dusit University in Bangkok, Namwhan is a Professional Diver, Underwater Photographer, Emergency First Responder, and of course the 'sweetest' Thai you will meet during your holiday in Thailand. (Her name translates - Nam = water / whan = sweet - She was born to be nice)

Dang - First Captain of the Aloha Kalona

One of Phuket's best speedboat captains. Dang holds a Class 1 Captains licence in addition to an Engineer's Licence. He gets us where we are going quickly and safely. Basically being born into the business, he has been piloting boats since he can remember. He is always quick with a smile and enjoys getting in the water with our guests to point out some of the harder to find marine life like Octopuses and Scorpionfish.

Chai - Second Captain and Engineer

Feel totally at ease out on the water with us knowing that we have 2 Captains on board. Why do planes have a co-pilot? Well, you never know. It is well worth the extra investment for us to have Chai on board. Chai has years of expereince piloting everything from Large Ferries and Barges to Speedboats. He is an excellent waterman and is a skilled engineer as well.

Our PADI Instructors & Guides

If Matt isn't on the boat with you, one of our fantastic, fun & professional foreign PADI Instructors will be on the boat with you ensuring ease of communication and safety throughout the day. Why do we hire Professional Dive Guides for Snorkeling Tours? Who better to help you have fun in the water - we provide all of our Snorkeling Tour guests with the benefits of a FREE PADI Snorkeling Course. Our guides will introduce you to the equipment, show you how to use it and teach you proper snorkeling techniques. If you already an avid snorkeler our guides are more than happy to help you progress to the next level by showing you proper free-diving techniques and point out marine life and explain any species you may not be familiar with.

Safety is our #1 Priority - All of our staff are Emergency First Responder trained and certified. All have current knowledge of CPR, First Aid and the use of Emergency Oxygen.
