Koh Phi Phi is actually a small archipeligo located in the province of Krabi approximately 40+ kilometers from Phuket, Krabi, and Koh Lanta.
The Phi Phi Islands are breathtaking and spectacular. Phi Phi's giant limestone cliffs rise majestically out of the crystal clear blue ocean to welcome you to Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. As you approach the Phi Phi islands, you will start to notice little coves hiding perfect little beaches and grottos just beconing you to come relax and go for a swim. Although Koh Phi Phi is increasing in popularity as more and more tourists flock here, you can still find secluded places to enjoy Phi Phi in privacy.
The Phi Phi Islands are comprised of six islands.
Koh Phi Phi Don - Considered the epicenter of Phi Phi, Phi Phi Don is the only populated island in the archipeligo. Phi Phi Don is where all ferry boats arrive and depart from Koh Phi Phi. It is also where all of the hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars and nighlife are centered. Most of the activity takes place in the main port town of Tonsai.
Koh Phi Phi Leh - Phi Phi's most popular island for tours and sightseeing gained international fame in the movie The Beach starring Leonardo DeCaprio. Phi Phi Leh is home to the world famous Maya Bay, a spectacular beach framed on all sides by giant cliffs. Maya Bay has become a 'must see' Phi Phi attraction. Also on Phi Phi Leh is Viking Cave, Pi Leh Cove, Loh Samah and just off the Southern tip the Bida Islands.
